Gloria looking for the pyramid. Watch out for giant snakes!

Didn’t think that I’d ever see it in person and still processing it.

We overnighted in a hotel that the guidebooks will tell you has a private entrance so you can get in super early and avoid the crowds. That is no longer true, since about 2021. However, from the front steps of our hotel the Observatory with the cylinder on top and Kukulcan (the big pyramid) are actually visible. Pretty cool!
