New year, new start

Here it is, Friday January 3rd and we’re sitting in front of an array of fans trying to keep the swelter of Puerto Escondido, Oaxaca at bay. Happy new year if i haven’t said that to you yet this year. All the best to you and yours, etc.

We’ve been here about a month and have another week before we head back up to the Mexico City. It is HOT here and we are staying in a penthouse palapa (read, palm fronds for roof, no glass on two sides of the apartment), so a move 10 hours north and 1,600 meters or so of elevation should clear that up.

After a year and a half of vagabonding and moving every month or two, we’re opting to settle for 6 months in Mexico City, the biggest city in North America to relax. We were there for three months last year and loved it. Museums, music, galleries, bicycles!

Anyway, my intention is to getting this thing going again. Wish us luck!
